We have great news! In January 2013, Magic Senses® will be participating to yet another fabulous celebrity gifting lounge hosted by GBK – this time, in honor of the Golden Globes nominees and presenters! How cool is that?!

At this event, approximately one hundred attending celebrities will receive a bar of either Lemon Peel or Sweet Pea Delight designer glycerin soap. Also, Magic Senses will be displaying a small collection of our most popular handmade soaps, including Grapefruit, Peppermint, Plumeria, Jazzy Jasmine, Feng Shui Wood and our brand new design: “Rising Star” Butterfly soap.

We are very excited to be able to share with celebrities some of our designs that delighted our customers for years! I’d like to take a moment to thank you all for the continuous support and patronage throughout the years. Your feedback, pictures, phone calls, tweets, emails and comments make our day, every day and help us improve our products, ultimately taking our business to the next level.

We’d like to thank Mrs. Valerie Guerrero with The Artisan Group™ for giving us this wonderful opportunity and for representing us at this glamorous event!

Big thanks to Beth at BPR Designs for featuring us on her blog today as “Soaper of the Week“!

The soap bars she featured are: Spearmint, Hyacinth (one of our latest designs), Lemon Lavender (displayed at the 2012 GBK’s Academy Awards Gift Lounge) and Soft Rain (gifted to celebrities at the 2012 GBK’s Academy Awards Gift Lounge).

BPR Designs and Magic Senses have joined forces in the past when we donated samples/gifts to cancer survivors attending “Casting for Recovery“, a program that offers “an opportunity for women whose lives have been profoundly affected by breast cancer to gather in a natural setting and learn the sport of fly fishing”.

Oscars Preps: Making Our Display Soaps

As you all know from our announcement, Magic Senses® soap will be displayed at the GBK Academy Awards (Oscars) Gift Lounge in February, 2012. We’ll be represented by the lovely ladies at The Artisan Group: Valerie Propst Guerrero and Nikki Cutro.

After building our display almost a month ago, now it’s time to make the soap bars that will go to Hollywood! Our display holds 5 bars of soap in the following fragrances: Cherry Vanilla, Watermelon, Lemon Lavender, Two to Tango, Seaside and a “Believe in You” Butterfly soap (scented in soft Sweet Pea).

This morning we finished cutting and wrapping Cherry Vanilla and Seaside; from each batch, we chose a winning bar to be famous in a couple of months:

We have very exciting news! In February 2012, we’ll be participating to the GBK Academy Awards Gift Lounge!

Our designer glycerin soap will be displayed for celebrities to see and smell. It will also be included in one hundred swag bags for attending guests.

We haven’t decided which of the soaps to send yet. We are debating if we should make a LIMITED EDITION design or just send some of our most loved ones… We’ll have to make a decision soon so if you have a top favorite, let us know below!

Many thanks to ALL our customers, friends and family for choosing, using and spreading the word about our handcrafted soap throughout the years.

October 5 & 6, 2011 – Fall Art & Gift Fair – San Joaquin Delta College (9am – 2pm, Danner Hall building where the Cafeteria is)

October 8 & 9, 2011 – Calaveras Home & Lifestyle Show (Calaveras County Fairgrounds, Angels Camp. Saturday: 10am – 5pm, Sunday 10am – 4pm)
